Today we leap into Spring and move our clocks I hour ahead! Spring is a time for rejuvenation, and you will hear the birds singing and see flowers bursting into colour.

After the 20th of March Equinox, days are starting to get longer, and it is a chance for us to explore the local countryside spotting the first bumblebee or butterfly of the year.

This year as we spend more time at home, we have the rare opportunity to be more in touch with the seasons and by being more aware you will see more migrant birds returning to the UK shores to breed and hear the well-known heralds of springtime -the cuckoo, swallows and if you are fortunate the sweet-sounding nightingale.
