Many students might be discouraged as their exams did not go well. Circumstances and events such as technical problems can seem be to conspiring against us and it feels easy to quit.

The important thing is to keep going. Treat every day as a fresh start. Instead of looking at disappointments as a burden treat them as steps to success. It’s about focusing on what’s immediately in front of you.

People who worry about enduring the long months ahead got overwhelmed and quit. If you continually focus on your long-term goals, it can feel like you will never get there.

Instead, just live in day long compartments. As long as you can make it through today and are doing the best you can, you’re doing great. Let tomorrow take care of itself.

To help our students, the ACCA and Kaplan have decided to hold a FREE WEBINAR to help students who feel stuck and need a little bit of inspiration to keep going. This is part of Kaplan’s #failfast campaign.

We are lucky to have the multiple award-winning Asif Mohammed, who is part of our Kaplan Alumni and is the CEO of an international business who will share his inspiring story and how he coped with challenges. He has also made the transition from CFO to CEO and give you tips as to how YOU can have a successful business career.

Here is the link to the amazing session I had with Asif, a young serial entrepreneur.

The best way to prepare for your tax exams is to learn my Condensed Notes and then practice exam questions. (by the way I do explain everything including fringe areas like the split year treatment using cutting-edge accelerated learning techniques which make it easy to understand and memorise).

If you are planning on doing Taxation or Advanced Tax in September 2022, I recommend you purchase Tax Condensed or Advanced Tax Condensed which will allow you to learn the technical rules If you then practice the key questions I recommend, you too will be ready for anything the examiner throws at you.

These books will really make the difference. You can purchase them using the links below:
