It’s Halloween in the Advanced Tax class now! My students are wondering whether the examiner will have a trick or treat in store for them in the December exam.
We have finally finished the teaching course and throughout the month of November will be focusing on exam questions and learning how to apply the knowledge to exam questions
You are welcome to join us for a 4-day face to face class in London or a 2-day online class where we work through exam questions and get ready for the business end of the course.
I expect areas such as the buy-back of shares, enterprise investment schemes and the share incentive scheme to feature in the December exam as well as takeovers with pre-acquisition trading and capital losses. We should also see a degrouping charge in this exam with a question where you need to find the errors in the computation.
Start pushing the boat out and stretch yourself as this final exam preparation is crucial to your success.
