The March 2023 Advanced Tax exam was both time-pressured and featured many unexpected topics.
Usually, overseas aspects relating to individuals, self-employed individuals, and controlled foreign companies have featured in the last few exams yet these areas were noticeably absent from the March 2023 exam.
This emphasizes the importance of good syllabus coverage.
If you are planning on doing Advanced Tax in June 2023, I recommend you purchase Tax Condensed or Advanced Tax Condensed which will allow you to learn the technical rules using accelerated learning techniques.
